First of all, thank you guys SO much for 6k. Without you guys, I wouldn't be here today :) I know this says 5k, and that's because I waited a little while to upload this promo I threw together to avoid conflicting with other big editing contests. (I DECIDED ON THE EDITING CONTEST ONCE I HIT 5K, HENCE THE TITLE OF THE VIDEO, THIS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION, HOWEVER, IS TO THANK YOU FOR 6K, WHICH I AM ABOUT TO HIT) The majority wanted to see an editing contest from me for 5k though, so here it is! All the rules and information is below, so please read the entire description. Thanks!

Prizes:

1st place gets $30/sub box for 1 month/entry uploaded to SoaR Studios and my personal channel.

2nd place gets $20/sub box for 2 weeks/entry uploaded to SoaR Studios and my personal channel.

3rd place gets $10/sub box for 1 week/entry uploaded to SoaR Studios and my personal channel.

DUE DATE - July 10th at 12:00 AM EST, no exceptions.

POST ENTRY AS A VIDEO RESPONSE TO THIS VIDEO! If it is not posted as a video response, I will not watch it.

3 clip minimum

Length does not matter - "quality over quantity".

NO COPY WRITTEN MUSIC!!! This is very important, because I will not be able to upload to my channel if the music is not copyright free.

What I will be judging on:

Originality!!!! - This is the most important thing I'm looking for. I'm not looking for anything over used, so be creative and make your edit unique! Overused effects will be HUGE points against you.

Song Choice - Use original songs! Overused songs will be HUGE points against you. (Also remember, non copy written songs only!)

Syncing - All shots should be synced and flow well with the song of your choice.

Color correction - CC's can make or break an edit. Try to use a CC that matches the tone and feel of your edit!

Even if you think you won't place, don't let that discourage you from entering!! Editors of all strengths and styles will be entering so you never know how you'll do! Whether you're a well known editor or just a beginner, this can be good practice for you and can help get your name out there, so why not??

There are a TON of clips of all different kinds to chose from so feel free to use as many as you want, just no fewer than 3. I supplied you with a variety of both COD4 and MW2 clips so feel free to use either, or mix and match, it's all up to you!
